The Booth Babes Of SEMA 2009

You have to admire the dedication of SEMA's booth professionals. Though there are many jobs in Vegas for a woman with a large chest and a fake smile, they faithfully serve the needs of chrome and carbon fiber.

Skoda Superb GreenLine's

For those who haven't noticed, we're a little dragon for the 2009 Skoda Superb (i.e. the Czech Passat) and it's clever TwinDoor system. And a version that gets better mileage and is better for the environment, why not? This version of the Superb gets a 1.9-Liter inline-four turbodiesel good for about 105 horsepower and the US equivalent of 46.1MPG.

CCX RTripping the Light Fantastic

Remember the Christopher Walken skit on Saturday Night Live where the inveterate creepy guy continues asking Will Ferrell for more cowbell? Well the Koenigsegg CCXR Edition needs more carbon fiber. The rebodied CCX is positively rotten with the stuff and the twin turbocharged, E85 sipping 1018 HP heart makes us almost feel like this outshines the Bugatti Veyron Fbg par Hermes which sits just down the row. This car speaks to our inner 17-year-old like a like a prom queen on a bender.

$5 Million Diamond-Coated Koenigsegg CCXR

There are three Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita's in existence. Each wears a paint scheme of carbon fiber coated in diamond dust. There's one for sale in South Africa right now for $5 million. Dubai, your next ludicrous paint fad has arrived.

This comes to us from the hallowed halls of Teamspeed, where one of their forum members spotted this sucker at local South African dealer. Just like the headline suggests, the carbon fiber is coated in diamond impregnated resin to give it that ridiculously expensive, ultimate warlord status symbol finish. Imagine the repair bill when your little warlord-in-training crashes his tricycle into it and leaves a nice long scratch.

Behind The $400K Wheel Of The Lexus LFA

Our own Wes Siler is in Miami today test driving Toyota's new hotness, the Lexus LFA. He's still enjoying it, but look for our first drive tomorrow. For now, drool over live track shots and the technical presentation below.

2011 Lexus LFA

The 2011 Lexus LFA isn't the fastest car ever made, nor the most powerful or even the quickest to 60 MPH. It can't even match the ZR1 around the Nürburgring. So why will this Toyota cost nearly $400,000?

Bugatti Veyron

Even kajillion-dollar hyper-cars have to contend with the dastardly forces of European parking authorities. No car, not even the Bugatti Veyron is safe from Das Boot.

SUBARU

Why We Wish Subaru Was In NASCAR
If Subaru were in NASCAR, we can only hope they'd use the GT300, a 2009 Super GT-ized Legacy B4 offspring, as its "stock car." Also, we'd hope this would be their pit crew. Oh, the car?

Rolls-Royce Ghost: Size Doesn't Matter

With 200EX concept styling, the little Rolls-Royce Ghost is all about the numbers. 212.6" long. 76.7" inches wide. A curb weight of 5,445 lbs. The brilliant 575 lb-ft of torque, 563 HP 6.6-liter V12. Put those numbers together? Epic.

The new sub-Phantom Rolls has finally been revealed ahead of the official unveiling at next week's Frankfurt Motor Show. The exterior's exactly what we should expect from the 200EX concept first shown earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show. It's classic Rolls styling — only smaller — and given the decreased size mated to the big V12 engine — it's likely much more of a driver's car than the Phantom.
